How do I bring the Remember Me exhibit to my area?
If you don’t see a tour location near you, consider hosting the exhibit at your church, university or other venue.

What are the requirements for hosting the Remember Me exhibit?
If your church or organization is interested in hosting the exhibit, the best first step is to contact us so that we can answer any questions you might have. Before you contact us, however, your church or group should think about the dates you would be willing to host the exhibit, the space where the exhibit would reside. Lutheran World Relief asks that hosting organizations make a donation to cover the costs of shipping the exhibit as well as promotional aids that will be provided to help you promote the exhibit in your area. A portion of the suggested donation is directed to Lutheran World Relief in support of our advocacy programs in Colombia.

How much space do we need to house Remember Me?
The gallery is flexible and designed to fit into many spaces, but generally the exhibit requires a minimum of 500 square feet. In deciding on a space, you should also consider if you want the gallery to be in a separate room or in a more open and public area. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. In either case, the space should be one that can be devoted to displaying the gallery for a few weeks without interruption.

How long can my group host Remember Me?
In general, we recommend that you plan on hosting the exhibit for 2-3 weeks to provide enough time for people from the surrounding area to view the exhibit. When you contact us to start the hosting process, we will be glad to talk through the run of the exhibit with you.

We encourage all hosts to think of creative ways to promote the exhibit in their own communities. To get you started, we’ve created a variety of promotional materials that can be used in addition to your own efforts. To promote the exhibit:
- Send out a news release
- Submit an Op-Ed in your local newspaper
- Print a bulletin insert for your church
- Post Flyers
- Order postcards (advocacy@lwr.org)
